Teacher (Part Time)
The Evanston Youth Club is seeking a dedicated and versatile Teacher to join our team and support our mission of empowering and enriching the lives of our youth. In this dynamic role, you will work as part of a collaborative team to lead activities, support daily operations, and provide a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, lead, and supervise engaging enrichment activities, recreation, and programs that promote creativity, teamwork, and personal growth.

Prepare and serve snacks and meals for youth participants, ensuring food safety and quality.

Drive club vans to transport participants to and from events, drop-offs, and other activities.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, including light facility upkeep and cleaning duties.

Build positive relationships with youth, serving as a mentor and role model.

Support special events, field trips, and community outreach efforts as needed.

Collaborate with team members to ensure the club operates smoothly and effectively.
Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (required).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with youth.

Ability to multitask, adapt to various responsibilities, and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Must be reliable, energetic, and committed to the mission of the Evanston Youth Club.
Work Schedule: Part-time afternoons and evenings.
Program Director
The Evanston Youth Club is seeking a motivated and organized Program Director to lead the planning, direction, and oversight of our youth programs. This role involves administrative, financial, and operational responsibilities while supporting our mission to inspire and empower youth. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for youth development, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, develop, and oversee youth programs and activities to ensure alignment with the club’s mission and goals.

Assist with administrative tasks, including reporting, grant writing, and financial management.

Support teachers and support staff with daily activities and program delivery.

Monitor program outcomes and provide recommendations for improvement.

Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and families.

Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and organizational standards.

Act as a mentor and role model to staff and youth participants, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in program management, youth development, or nonprofit operations preferred.

Strong organizational, administrative, and leadership skills.

Experience in grant writing, reporting, or financial management preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and community.

Availability to work afternoons and evenings.
Work Schedule: 30–35 hours per week, afternoons and evenings.
Salary: $35,000–$40,000 annually, depending on experience (DOE).
